like i said before it was because people are on their hols , and whats the problem with free or cheap tickets if the seats aren't getting filled isn't it better than seeing empty stands????.

Me and my mate had the same argument - it's doesn't make good business sense...why stick to your guns with inflated ticket prices and have empty seats when you can fill the stadium every week with lower costs...the stadiums re-coup any difference on beer and pies anyway!!

Nothing wrong with that mate its the fact you need to do it is the problem.

And as for the really clever person who pointed out we were giving two away for every one bought, it was two under ten year old tickets and it was a pre season friendly!

Tony there was no need to edit your thread i would of taken it at face value, banter between different supporters. In fact it would of been good craic.
