I got my new Anyfish Anywhere rod today from reelsport to go with my multiplier :D so went for a few chucks along from the ferry landing, the wooden jetty/brighams whatever you want to call it. I didn't blank which was cool and I love the new rod cheers again Terry, anyway I pulled this fella up eelpout or tadpole fish.? The pics are crap and I didn't try to hold the fish as it kept wrapping itself up.

It got dark and the birdsnests (nothing too bad) started happening so I went home, but I christened the rod and had a nice few peaceful hours out.

I have never used coasters before and asked Terry how to use them but forgot about it and ran off in my hurry to test rod before any info was given, bloody reel started coming off when I was reeling in haha. I managed to figure out how to get it properly on though I think it was because I read somewhere some fella knacked his rod tightening them too much had me worried.

100% a blenny and fresh from spawning, the lower Tyne is full of them from late Jan until end of March, if you use ragworm (fav food) on a very small hook you will get them.
