Me and Rob headed off to Shropshire at 6.00 this morning, bleary eyed but bushy tailed :). Got there at 9.00 and the boat was ready to hitch up, even got a bottle of wine off the owners......

200 yards down the road and a stop at a greasy spoon for a quick inspection and a bacon sarnie to re fuel the driver before setting off for home....

We arrived back at Hartlepool around 3.30, the intentions were to put the boat in the water for a trial run, sods law the tide was right out, so a quick trip home for a bite to eat and then back down for 5.00 and the water half way up the ramp....get in :D

Fantastic news Chris. the boat looks a cracker and looks like you had a great adventure collecting it.

We did exactly the same as you on Friday tea time.

We even used the same car to tow our new purchase back.

;)

Back to reality at last Chris, the boat looks superb on and off the water. Well worth the trip.:D. Wonder if you'll have any "sickies" this week if the weather window arrises:rolleyes:;)
