headed down for 6.30pm l took a packet of frozen blacks loads of yts and flatties was gonna give up at 11pm then my rod went just a small tap then loads of slack line then got my slack line back and struck and reeled like hell got it in it was just under 5lb so had another cast after 5mins the rod went again got it all the way to wall started to lift and the ruddy trace snapped so rigged up agian last bit of bait with in seconds of it went again pulled in a canny yt so pack up at 11.45pm

I actually hate fishing that corner anyway mate especially if I'm with the bairn, you get some very ignorant anglers come and fish over you like WTF, you got the whole walkway and here you are casting over peoples heads.

Like I say though its packed when I left so can't imagine what it will be like tonight, 2 older fellas passing told me about a 5lber and 3lber last night I'm guessing your 5lb fish was one of them it kind of explains why it was so busy.

A lad had 2 fish a 4 half caught earlier about 4pm and a 5 half caught about 7pm.
