The Walkway Friday Night

Fished the Walkway last night from about 5 o'clock until about half 9. Had a few small Whiting but would have loved to have cought the beast that did this to one of my catches.

I didn't manage to get the monster but I did catch this chubby feller.

We left a bit earlier than I would have liked but my son had a nightmare with lost and broken gear so we headed home.
If any of you who gave us bait last night are on here, Thanks very much, it got us out for a few hours at Hebburn this afternoon. Only small stuff caught but a canny session anyway.

Nice one Mark I had same problem with my lad on the corner at the start of the walkway, he lost a load of gear the first few hours like. We managed 5 good size whiting and a just on size whiting that went back alive.

Could it of been crabs that have stripped that whiting? never the less whatever done that did a good job.

Nice and warm when I got back haha, not a good night for me at all, on the plus side got my box sorted, bit of super glue never fails

glad i decided this morning i wasnt going fishing tonight, need to shake this damn cold off for work tho

Few lemsips will sort you out man Thought I'd be ill today after last night, I was numb! I'll make sure I take a few extra layers next time!

yea always best to have too much than not enough
we learn by our mistakes....sure thats why i packed in fishing
well sooner i get over this cold the sooner i can go get myself some of those nice plump coddies

just keep at it your time will come
