Well lads here is a bit of important info for you .
two thieving toerags from south shields have been sentenced to 55days inside for breaking into a car at the car park at the mull of galloway they stole fishing/camping gear and a wallet and other stuff they tried to use a stolen credit card at the sports shop and the rest is history . their names are XXXX XxXXXXXX 21 and XXXX XXXXXX 21 . so if you see these two when you are fishing be careful . :thumbdown: :mad: :mad2: :mad2: . according to the press they had met the victim and started talking about fishing sites then the car owner walked away from his car and when he returned it had been broken into . SO BEWARE

Shocking news Pete,theres thieves every where but you would\'nt expect it at the Mull and I\'m shocked at the circumstances in which they committed this crime :mad:
When you say \"fishing sites\" do you mean websites or fishing marks ?
Does your local paper have a website where we can view the whole story mate.

Can you let me know where you got the info from and mebbies a link to a news site which reported on it, please.

If, as you say, they have already been foound guilty and their names have previously been printed / reported in the press, then I\'ve no objection to their names being mentioned on here.

I\'m from South Shields myself and it sickens me that scum from the same town as me can stoop so low. At least they have been caught, did the lad get any gear back?

I got the news from the Stranraer & Wigtownshire free Press the 29th of june issue it was on page 10 on the countryside matters page , it is a local paper. it comes out every wednesday evening . :)

Now here\'s an idea for a competition: Use a half blood knot around nice thick rope around the thieving scumbags necks and tie them to a set of goal posts. Then hold a casting competition with the goal mouth being the \'scoring \' zone. 10p per cast and have as many as you want. Winner is decided on who draws the most blood and takes the cash. This way there is always a chance of winning even if you are the last caster (unless there\'s no blood left).

Human Rights has its place but there should be exceptions !
