I haven't been fishing since mid November, due to one thing and another, but decided I woud wet my line again for the New Year and fish the Amble open tomorrow. Just been into the garage to sort out gear, bait etc to find a lovely little cute mouse, has decided to chew through two pairs of neoprene waders, my greys fleece, a balaclava, my rubber thigh waders, and my floatation suit.....You little bast**d....., just wait til I catch you....you might be launched out to sea with a 6/0 pennel hook through your head.......

So anglers be warned, dont keep all your fishing coats/jackets and waders in a neat pile in the garage......
 
Nightmare lol,hopefully you`ll get something off the prize table tomorrow to replace them.Lost a few trace wallets in the shed once through mice,nowt left of them.
 
excuse me everybody ! i love mice they are so cute and fury ,,, awwwwww it is only hundreds of pounds worth of fishing gear dont worry about it , its there habititat!... BORKKKKKKKKKKK this is what ya hear from the idiots about the sealsss caining nets ! isnt this just the same point lol f-cking clowns !! :)( not youse lads , the seal lovers i mean)

lol, you have a good point, i agree with you about the seals....
 
after reading the other post about the seals and people sticking up for them

i live in country side and know a few farmers and they see foxes probably as the same way as hartlepool codder sees seals, i do understand how farmers dont like the foxes as they do destroy propery and kill/attack there live sock and it is exactly he same for hartlepool with referance to his nets and catch

and also people need to relise the trawlerman dont throw away dead fish because that would be like me throwing 20 pound notes out the car wiondow as we drive along the motorway, they do it because they have to, otherwisethey will be giving large fines, that could actually cripple his business,

anyway that is my 2 pence worth for what it is worth, and this is probably on the wrong post as well

at last mate thank you somebody with a bit of common sense. they think the trawler lads throw fish away because they want to. people just wont listen. as you say yes its like farmers trying to make a living and the foxes killing there livestok and rabbits also eating there crops etc etc yal always have these activists who think they no it all who probably earn 50grand a year sat in an office saying whats right and whats wrong. tite lines :)
