Had planned to get out fishing yesterday, weather seemed decent aand was well up for it,.
Got to the marina at 7:45 jumped in the tender went to oar and my paddle snapped, thought hmm thats a good start.
Jumped on my boat, took the cover off and saw my vhf still switched on, went to start the engine and the battery was dead, thought to myself this is turning into nightmare, so i went to pull the engine, managed around 10 pulls then the cord snapped, not my day at all, then to rub it in i hear some very good reports.

I went to machine mart today and bought myself one of those Battery boosters and hopefully dead batteries will stop me no longer.

Was thinking about going out later on this afternoon for a little run try get a bit charge back into the battery and do a spot of fishing see if theres anything about.

yeah went down today and got the engine started, its going to need a decent run to get some charge back into the battery, but it will be ok, no major problems.

planning on a fishing extravaganza next week going out tuesday through till saturday, weather permitting.

Good to hear you got the probs sorted in time for the good forcast this week.They say bad luck comes in threes, but luckily they happened all at once and not 3 different occasions. Have you got your boat in Sunderland Marina ?.

yes its the second one from the end on the chain mooring nearest the marina office.
