Interesting to see other points of view.
I suppose I could go with the argument that if he wanted to kill him/make him suffer so badly, then the sadistic me could run with - let him suffer by lying there bleeding to death...
But then springs the argument of, did he infact put him out of his misery by not letting him bleed out!?

Its a tough call like, really tough and I can totally see both sides of it. He is a murderer at the end of the day but hope he gets leniency and a smooth time in prison, which I am sure he will.

Have to strongly object to those saying he is no better than the terrorist and Kayos - freedom fighter?? Sorry but I just cant accept that one. Understand what you are getting at with the rest of your comments though mate, but its quite clear that this guy was not a freedom fighter.

A massive travesty of justice and the poor lad now faces a life sentence for the so called crime. Someone putting his life on the line for queen and country is now a criminal.

The biggest tragedy is the comments from the Brigadier who said ""It should not have happened, and it should never happen again". I think what he really meant was it "Should never have been recorded and it should never be recorded in the future"

are you for real you idiot ? So I take it you won't be remembering the people who have fought and died for our country today. I'm sure plenty of the great men and women been in the same situation. I remember talking to an old war veteran, he wore all his medals etc on his coat and cap, he told me some stories that I could only relate to as nightmares and have massive respect for him to this day and all the lads and lasses of today.

Should have chopped his head off whilst he gargling his own blood and p@ssed down his neck. People are very naive and to quick to forget ! They should have done everything in their power to prevent him going to jail ! I applaud him and the rest of lads and lasses out there. Not much of an incentive for them though is it. To many do gooders around now that's why this country is the sh@t hole it is. Shocking !
