thoughts while at work

Boring day at work , so you all know how your mind wanders to fishing thoughts . So these are mine for the day
1, has any one tried camel island with spinning gear recently ?
2, should i use a shock leader if fishing on the pier with a jelly worm texas style
3, are there any skippers that do evening trips out ? and are there guys on here that would be up for a few hours
4, whats the spinning rod moonfleet sell that i have seen mentioned so many times before but cant find now

well that was my day lol . I just want to fish !!!

1. No idea, aint fished camel island for a while!
2. I use a short shockleader if fishing mono in case of a bigger fish but just a small rubbing leader for braided line.
3. Stick a post on the boat fishing section if you ment a couple of hours out on a boat lol

Its a rubymar and is a light boat fishing rod. I have one for my norway trip in two weeks

The light spinning rod is a tronix rockfish , it comes in three versions the very light is upto 7 gram casting weight about £25ish I think

Its the rubymar from moonfleet that one mate cant go wrong for 20 notes

Hi James, its a bit of mono leader to save the braid from nicking on the rocks, probably be better off with a drop net for lifting big fish up a pier wall, especially if using a smaller spinning rod.
