any1 know a good website for checking the weather, tides, swell etc.

There is a tide table forum at the top above the shore fishing forum. There are quite a few for weather, I quite like this one

I'm sure the lads will give you a site for the swell's, something I've never bothered much with.

best thing you can do mate is look at several and try and make best judgement

I like XC Weather as it's generally the more accurate of the lot

I then look at the Surf Report Tynemouth Surf Report, Surf Forecast and Surf Webcams but to be honest it can be hit and miss at times

and then I also look at the webcams

one tip I was given was to try and look at the wind from further afield of where we are...if it's blowing a huge northerly in Aberdeen rest assured we'll prob end up with some big northerly seas down here

bbc 5 day weather forcasts
