I,m looking at the low tide for next Monday as i,m fishing down Hartlepool.
The high tide is 4.5. Am i right in thinking the tides are not up to much.
I remember when i was a lad digging bait was best on a low tide following a 5.2.
This was years ago. And i can,t just cycle down now from Consett to have a look.

Cheers Mick.

Yea i,ll be fishing the tide down and when its out which i,m not keen on.
Still if its in the water and there is some fish mooching round off the rocks you never know.

(plus it gets a bit crowded on the pier).

Can I ask why you don't like low tide?? Some of my best fish, including my PB have been taken from low water. A lot of marks fish better 2 hours either side of low water rather 2 hours either side of high. Some marks that you blank over on high water can be excellent over low. Just a thought mate.
