Tiga Battery

My battery looks like its had it, not holding a charge at all now.

Its a 6v 8A Ni-Cd, has anyone ever bought a replacement?

Maplins or Colemans in N.Shields, however mine is SLA (sealed lead acid).

Someone on here had a nimh battery pack made up somewhere local, much lighter.

im sure it was Rod he got it done at cell pack solutions at tedco south shields

Sure a place at the team valley does them.m8 got one,cant remember what the place was called now,will try and find out.

try the model shops they do batteries just do a search

it was me i got it at cellpack solutions in tedco behind whicks in south shields it was about £60 with a charger but if you have a charger they will just make a battery pack up for a lot less ...Rechargeable Batteries - Cordless Phone Batteries - Digital Camera Batteries - Video Camera Batteries - Cell Pack Solutions

just spoke to mate that works there they only have 10 amh 1s left are better last longer if you charge it ever 8 weeks even when not using it it stop it from braking tells you in booklet

if you take your old battery in they will put your connection on.

maplins have 6v on offer at moment £4.99.
ps the one in the picture with the tigra looks like a cell pack out of emergency light fittings,sure i have seen them like that in certain emg luminaires.bit pricy and wont last as long as the others.

the one i had made in picture is light and small memory free , and lasts four quite a few hours i think it is 10 amp hours they copy the tiga lightweight battery

divnt buy another for the price ull pay for a new battery u can get a new headlamp just got mine from id fishing in newcastle its a samalite hl100f flood light just as good a a tiga,550 metre beam holds about 10 hours of dim light nd bout 4 on flood try it theve sold loads even ask bout the battery there advising people not to buy them my light was £109.99 i reacon a new batt would be about £75
