Tiga Help

there use to be a place over north shields where you could get the batteries for the old mining lamps... dunno where it is/was but an old friend of mine got me from there many many many moons ago ( just cant think for the life of me who it was )

your right kingcod, but that hole is only an additional part they put on to make people buy there batteries because people think that is what they must need, i done away with that connection because they use soldered joints on the connections which arnt that good because by law and regulations we cant use lead in solder anymore which makes the soldered joint more prone to becoming brittle when a current is passed through it and causing heat which then cools down and eventually breaks the solder down. my tiga is set up on both 12 volt and 6 volt batteries as 12 volt g4's are alot cheaper than 6 volt g4 capsule lamps and the battery last alot longer too.
