I bought a Tiga Sl headlamp about a year ago, I used it a couple of times & it worked great. I got it out last night & charged it hoping to use it tonight & sods law there is no power..

When its on charge it goes from the orange light to green but there seems to be no power??

Anyone got any ideas, Do I need a new battery??

Thanks in advance.

has yours got wires from battery to little blue thing then from that to where you plug lamp in ? well i found the little blue ( might be different colour on yours ) was making a connection so pulled the cover off and squeezed terminals closer together and now works fine

might not be the problem but worth testing as mine lay in the garage for about 5 years with no use and i just charged it ,realised had no power so checked it with multimeter and was reading ok.....thats when i found out it was that little blue thing

hope it helps

Don't think so? The battery just looks like one big sealed unit with a hole for the charger ( looks like a headphone jack ).

The only thing & could see was a push button type thing?? which I pushed!!

Thanks for the help though!!

them batteries wont work for his head piece as he said his battery has a hole in it and the lamp plugs into it unless he cuts off his headpiece plug and wires it to the terminals;)

the tiga spare batterys are £53
