Does anyone know how long it takes to recharge the Yuasa 6V 10Ah lead acid battery that comes with the headlight? I didn\'t get any instructions with mine and I\'m still waiting a reply from the Tiga website.

Cheers, Rob.

i,ve a mate thats an auto electricion the chargers that come with the tiga lamps only put out a small charge and can take a long long time to charge i,ve no idea of the technical data but you,re far better with a car battery charger remebering it,s only 6v of course and never ever store them flat and never leave them on there side the acid can erode the terminals inside you can get a good 12ah 6v battery of the tinternet for about £12

ive a tiga headlight and i just leave it on charge some times for a day or more and its still going strong. jamcod

i leave mine on over night
as for a car battery charger
i wouldnt use one
but its my preference
they dont come with one so
you dont have to be a rocket scientist
to work that out

Low current chargers are cheaper so tiga give you them?

I bought a 10ah battery from maplins for £10 and use a car charger - cheap as chips!

the problem with the car chargers is that they only put a surface charge on and can also overheat the battery and damage it .I have had my tiga for 2 year and using the tiga battery charger i am still using the same battery it came with. I will also add i fish 5 nights a week stick with the proper charger mate and you will not go wrong.

flaten batery ever now and then but not to often or will dry cells out and for charging iff you use it 2 hrs after full charge charge it for 4 double the time you used it for and it will trickle charge once its full thats the instructions i got with my baterey

Thanks for the response lads :D

Got a reply back from Tiger Tools giving me a contact at Swift Fishing Tackle who supply the battery and charger for the headlights. I also received an email back from Yuasa who manufacture that particular battery. They both recommend that I use the charger supplied with the battery, recommend that I don\'t use a car battery charger as it can damage the battery and give charge times as per what has already been said by kingfisher. Cheers mate :D
