What do you recommend for fixing to rod tip for fishing after dark ? Or do you just watch it with head torch ?

I think I will get some of that mighty bright to put on my rods. Are all the colours as good as each other ? Also how much do you put on ?

Boxes of 50 from Lidl's for about £3 - put the blue ones straight in the bin, leaving you 40, then just whip 'em on with bait elastic each session - job done. Also have mighty-brite tape on most of my rods (I like the black stuff as it's pretty invisible during the day) which is there just in case I forget my tip lights really.

I put it on in a tight spiral from the tip down to the second (or third if you count the tip ring) eye. I've got the eclipse (black) on two of my rods and white on the other - the white is very bright while the eclipse shows up more of an off white colour (though this was the old eclipse from when it first came out, it might be more of a white colour now).

On my old Tip Sport I used to have orange to match the whipping colour. They are all pretty good to be honest.

I use this 6" x 2" SELF ADHESIVE ROD TIP REFLECTIVE TAPE | eBay

trimmed down to a 5mm strip , stretch it as you spiral on down the rod , a warm with a hair drier makes the glue super sticky .

paint tip white down to second eye then mighty bright black tape spiraled down over the top wrks for me
