hi mate, what size seat did you end up getting. I have just been looking at this problem tonight. I have a Century SS and have tried fitting my 25mm ABU reel seat. its to tight to get on butt. I have measured butt and it is 25mm so I am going to try and get a 26.1mm ABU tomorrow. The rod had a 28mm seat fitted, this was packed out with tape.I don,t like using tape, also if you want to change seat position you have to have tape in different positions.

The century reel seat and abu reel seats are ok if you dont go fishing much or never catch any fish. My mates century seat on his brand new ttr bought at xmas broke a few weeks ago, and a abu grip lock i had bust bringing a fish in.
Use fuji's on all me rods now apart from one rod which is fitted with a fuji copy and have been told they are good so giving it ago time will tell.
The kompressor SS if it has the standard factory fit japanese shrink tube will take a 26mm reel seat id cut it and put a coaster over the seat so its adjustable and lube the butt of the rod up to push it on pass the bottom lip ... i find lurpack butter the best. Honest !

25.2mm mate and it fits perfect the 26.1 would need packed up alot. if the butt of your rod is 25 then the 25.2 should be spot on !
