Was that the one with the 70hp motor as if it was i bet it would have felt a tad underpowered

i know someone who has a marlin with a 70 and he wishes he would have gone for the 90 and the vangaurd although been the same hull is a lot heavier

cheers

Yes Sean, it was the one with the 70 on the back on ebay and on boatsandoutboards. That was a niggle with the power we were prepared to put up with. Everything else was right about it with the exception of the fishing space. When the boats primary function is to go fishing in, it wouldn't do. Micky felt if two of you's were fishing next to each other and both hooked up at the same time( as normally happens wrecking!), you would struggle for space landing the fish. Spending that kind of money on the wrong boat would have been a nightmare.

The space you have on yours will be massive compared but we still want an enclosed wheelhouse as a must.
The realisation that it is impossible under 6 metres took two trips to Derby for Micky to find out!
As soon as I get back(whenever that is!)we will take you up on that offer Norman, Cheers.

With the cover down its just like an enclosed wheel house

add a little heater which can run of all sorts of power sources as the cover guy showed me and its as warm as toast in there

The cover fastens down the sides with poppers but it zips up along the back so it can be left in place and then rolled up when fishing

Cheers Sean. It seems like the best of both worlds as the cover still gives the extra fishing space. Lots of thinking and miles to put in looking!
