Todays Boat Trip

Well we went out of H/Pool 7am this morning hoping for plenty of cod. Fish were few and far between. Mackeral we caught were only small like little joey's. Rippers were the order of the day, I got 2 ling and 1 cod. Heaviest fish on the boat was 8 and a half pound ling, There was cod up to 7 pound. There was 15 cod and 15 ling caught between 10 anglers, which was not that good. But I had an enjoyable day good craic and a good laugh. Next trip Red5 from s/land August 7th. Hoping for better results

Still good that you didn't blank mate, and like you say you had a good day out , should pick up when the water clarity gets better,

We were on the Bachanalian. We on the ground but it was'nt on the rough ground as I would have liked. I like the really rough ground. Anyway it was a good day out. Chris
