Today's fishing

Started at the fish quays was there for about 2 hours not a single bite,lost about 7 lots of gear not happy then went to high Shore for about 3 hours still no bites, and lost about another 7 lots of gear really not happy , also the bait I bought from my local fishing shop wasn't the best most of the rag were dead with in a hour and rest was tiny . So over all it wasn't that good of a day but it got me out the house lol ps must remember to check my bait before I leave the shop lol

as long as you got matey which was more than me
theres alot of sub standard bait going round at the moment too so expect long ques of fishermen checking there bait in tackle shops
i think in recent post weve started summit on here about dodgy bait
well done for getting out mind!

Ye I have noticed a few threads talking about poor baits. Never mind I'm going to have to find a place on the river that hasn't got any snagged haha lol the that is wish full thinking.Danny I will pm u mate don't want to name shops on here because normal the baits not that bad.

Hard lines on the fishing and lost gear mate but at least you got out for a few hours.

I went for a few chucks last night and on the way to south shields was wondering what i had forgot this time as i always forget to take something, usually nail clippers for snipping the lines neat, bait elastic or my hand towel When i arrived i opened the boot and checked the rucksack but found all the items i needed so was quite chuffed with myself until i openeed the rear door to get my rod out no rod!!!

Tight lines and better luck next time.
