Got a phone call this morning at 6 am to go out on the kayak, weather was great, not a breath of wind and a glass like sea. Started getting mackeral in triple shots quite regular managed a pollack of around 3lb then more tigers. we headed in around 9 am with around 25 fish in total.
Was in the house around 2 hours then decided to get the boat out, wind had picked up a bit and there was a few white tops, but that didnt deterr us headed to a similar mark we were in the yak, was very slow, but then we drifted over a shoal of stripey fellas and were pulling them iup in 2's and 3's then it just went dead, and with the wind strengthening all the time we headed back in.
Was a pleasant day, weather looks promising for thursday and friday so fingers crossed it will be.
