Is anyone out tonight near Roker? Prob fishing the prom at Seaburn from 6pm.

Good protection from the elements, especially if a westerly is blowing

im out tonight taking the brother in law out its his first time fishing so looking for somewhere easy for his first time. was thinking of roker pier casting into the bay?

Go to the end of the pier roundhead and cast straight out. Best chance of a fish always.

Parsons will be a bit of a waste of time I'm affraid given the conditions - river, piers or deep rock marks the best idea in a period of flat...

I have fished the seaburn prom on a few occasions this winter but where is parsons rock any advice jim bob

Don't quote me on this but I think it just refers to the canonball rocks in front of the prom in general...

thanks Jimbob so is parsons a low water mark. I usually fish the prom half tide up me and the bairn find it a good shot sheltered spot from those westerleys

Yeah, you were right Jim Bob, sea was flat and very little action. Fished till about 20:30pm and only one whiting all night.

Yes Parson's is the actual rock bed all along the prom.
