Don't see why not mate, as long as you get calmer sea conditions and half decent water clarity.

Rocketman, let us know how u get on if you give it a shot. Thinking of having a go myself this evening. Gotta be some fish close in, all the.discarded bait that gets chucked over the side. Wanted to fish the seaward side last time I went but the wind was a pain, so I opted for the bay. Wind looks better today for the seaward side if it isn't too choppy. Tight lines bud
