I hate derby day, stomach churns from waking up in the morning till after the game, plus you're right, we usually get beat. :D

I might be wrong (again) but I don't think Gordon who posted the thread about arrests is a makem.

aye you're right, he's a mag, i hate it when that happens, :D

im nervous now for derby day, and weve got the bin-dippers before then, gut wrenching stuff.

ideally i'd like a reverse result of the last freak derby game, 0-3 !:D

but realistically i'd take a draw.

I think draw is likely but then as much as I hate to say it remy looks really dangerous when ever he gets the ball. He could be one to watch.
 
toon getting beat off anyone used to kill me, really hurt, especially by sunderland. But after keegan done a one and the team went into freefall I kind of got used to it. stopped going up a few year ago after eventually the realization of the pis* take hit home, ridiculous prices, shi* staff,
shi* beer, shi* grub etc etc.

remy looks even better in the flesh, puts cisse in the shade, he's hungry , quick and direct, looks the real deal, be nice to get him signed permanently.

I know where you're coming from Gordon, I nearly didn't renew this season, it was a big decision for me, it's the only thing me and my lad do together. As it happens he's decided he'd rather be playing football when his matches clash.

The biggest joke is the players taking more home in a week than week earn in a year, referee's thinking they are the centre of attention, etc etc.

He does look the real deal if you do get him and he continues the Ashley will sell him soon as he can to make some wonga
 
We've got him til june next year, at first there was no mention of and buy at end option or anything, but Ive seen the papers mention it.

But as with any of them, they start to look good and they will be off for a profit, and cash into fcb's pocket :mad:

He'll be there till somebody offers him a better deal, personally had I been Mike Ashley I would never have gone back in for him after the way he snubbed the club earlier. I agree he is a good player but he is a football mercenary who will never show loyalty to any club. I look forward to the rest of the season with interest as for the derby I relish the challenge, just hope you leave our police horses alone.:D:D:D:D:D:D

Remy had no loyalty allegiance at all to NUFC, how could he ? He was a Marseille player, how could he show loyalty to a team he didn't play for????:confused:

He had 2 offers, both from teams struggling in the premier league, both bid the same money ( 8 million, ish?) , qpr offered him 70k per week, double nufcs wage offer, why wouldn't he go to qpr? I would. Doing the same job for double the money!he would have been stupid not to go to qpr, pleased he ended up here in the end, looks a class player.

If you had a job & someone offered you double the money your'e on to do the same job would you not work for them? Money certainly isnt everything in life , but it helps!

Can't win though, Some people slated harper, said he was as unambitious , happy to take his wages but not play regular football. So was he loyal or unambitious? maybe he didn't want to uproot his family? quite happy being well paid to stay local, happy days!

It isn't the player's faults, it's the clubs/ directors / owners / agents/ sponsors etc. Can't blame the players for accepting great pay deals.

Hey, Gerry hat trick mate, who said out about loyalty, their all fu**n mercenary's after dosh, same as any normal person. All I would like is to see is the frog keep scoring:D
