hope all you boys doing ok gonna take boat up to luce bay launching from stairhaven mostly trying for tope any info on what best ground best to fish over and best methods and times would be a great help cheers .

Fished luce bay many times for tope and done well.

Gear 30lb class rod, wire trace with about a 1lb of lead, and a mackerel flapper or big mackerel side.

Ground wise, well we used to just head anout 2 miles off the bay drop the anchor over soem sand banks and wait...have abit sport on lighter gear for doggies, haddock and mackerel when your waiting for the clicking sound of the tope reel
