I'd go for the XSHA over the Mag 2 personally. Either that or a magged up 535 GS

Go for an old 535 gs built like a tanknowt wrong wid the daiwa's mind,the new 535 mag 2's are not the best build qlty.what about penn fathoms or if you want to push the boat out,a saltist....

Personally I wouldn't go for the XSHA's - I've had quite a few and had to replace many shafts & bushes - they've got a bit of a design flaw where the shaft is machined really thin, and after a bit of use the bush the shaft sits in gets a bit worn, and next thing you know, when the reel's under a bit of pressure, the shaft bends & you've got to replace both bits. Can't comment on the 535 though as I gave up on Penns a while ago. If you can get one, get a Saltist instead!
