no usually they are pissed up, but most of the twats that cause trouble in pubs also smoke because when they were young they started smoking because they thought it made them look harder.

see, we can all generalise, not hard ;)
 
i dont know if this is relavent or not but my partner jill mentioned something. she has been a smoker a long time and is trying to give up (good on her). well she goes to the docs every month to breath into a tester that measures the ammount of toxins and stuff she has in her body from giving up smoking to see how well she is doing, she is doing really well and there are no readings now of toxins but there is a guy who comes in who has also given up and still has signs of carbon monoxide in his system who walks to work everyday. the nurse says these are from car emissions. everybody goes on about pasive smoking killing them but what about pasive car fumes. now before anyone says anything she does not drive and allways walks to work so she says that cars are also killing people with there emissions. so should cars also be on the future to ban list the same as smoking in public places? in theory they also kill with poisonous fumes towards the non driver.

Good point mate

Theres also a fertilizer used that is a known cause of cancer and was banned 4 decades in Europe but not here and suprise suprise cancer deaths are much higher here!

I packed in the fags last year (still havnt had one) and feel much better for it but I dont believe that they\'re as evil as they make them out to be.

infact i\'m taking a spare case to africa with me next week to fill with fags at 25p a packet and my mate is going to flog them all on the building site he\'s on just now :D

If the government bans everything that gives off fumes I\'ll be out of a job, as I\'m a welder, so with no job, I will have to go fishing every day to fill my time in :P :P I wish.
 
just imagine the fun we non-smokers are going to have watching all the beagles outside trying to light up a damp fag with a damp match in a force 8 gale and pissing rain :P

mine has never let me down yet ;) and theres nothing wrong with a bit of free enterprise les. as long as there are smokers yuo should do ok and
as long as long as it keeps lighting my cigs i am a happy man :D :D

you don\'t drive a landrover defender do you??

i have one with an engraving of a defender and the LR logo on it, i was punting them on ebay and doing nicely with them then zippo complained and ebay withdrew my auction,
