Fancied a run up to beadnell of Friday night with the conditions looking mint for it,a 2lb codling on first cast and hopes were high for a good session but for the next 2 hours got nowt but strands of kelp no matter were I cast so on to plan B,down to Craster harbour but it was even worse!

Plan C wasn't great either,tried whitley bay Sunday morning on flood to use up spare bait,got 2 small codling on 1st 2 casts then the weed started again!
