Tough Day At Tweeddale

I reckon Tweeddale is fishing like most waters at the moment, very, very trying.
My mates and myself fished hard for 6hours yesterday and only had 4 fish to show for all our activity, whether it was the low pressure ,the warmish water or the fish were on an off day it was difficult to suss out.
All of the other guys were having a hard time of it and I reckon there would have been quite a few blanks.
There were plenty of fish jumping but they were definately not on any sort of feeding pattern, there was the odd top and tail but overall to get a bend in the rod took some doing, the fella in the "lodge" said fishing had been difficult over a few days but couldn't give any reason why.
Not to worry, there is always other days to wet a line and with a bit of luck maybe a few rod benders are waiting to give us some action.
Cheers

Thats the joys of fishing.

I,ve not been up the resevoir for a while now but am looking forwards to my next day.

Nope Seddo went up yesterday to the Derwent Resevoir and it was rubbish. The water level is right back up with all the rain water we have had and there was also a couple of Grebes and comorants swimming about.

hard

hard

yeah it can get hard there, but dont dispair it will come good again at the backend. many places go like this for various reasons like to hot, to much rain, cloudy water, low pressure etc, etc. we all struggle mate, your not alone!
