Well today was the day for the big test, and what a day, was great to be out on the water seeing the lads.
After leaving the marina like a part timer compared to norman at 5 am i headed out and met the lads in the three boats outside the piers, the buggers already had a good few fish between them, it started as one of those days for me ( obviously out of practice ) by about 9am i still did'nt have anything worth keeping.................but boy did things change within 45 minutes i had nine biggest about 3 pound.
Anyway through out the course of the day ( till about 3.30 ) i never stopped catching, ended up with 41....bloody 41, can you believe it !!!! cant get the smile off my smallest i kept was just over a pound ( was hooked right into it gut ), biggest was 6.5lb, but the average was 2lb to 4lb......took bloody ages to gut them all outside the piers, filleting was even worse
WOW WOW WOW what a day, nearly forgot to mention the boat worked great aswell
Did i mention i brought home 41 hee hee !!, dont know how to post the pictures but will send them to Norman, who if i ask nicely will post them for me....am knackered now got a sunburnt head, sore fingers, and a silly grin thats starting to distort my face even more than usual

40 bloody 1 have you not put some secret trawling device on board when you fitted the engine ???
Well done bob cracking catch ......esp on a maiden !

Or is that not the first time you had a maiden on your boat ?;)

Norm

Bob thats more than you have caught since you started fishing about thirty five year ago. Well done "WHERE'S MINE"

PS thought Tri-Tech was your van

Q how many anglers did you have on board

Well this skippering lark is obviously just like riding a bike, awsome catch Bob!

I take it the hovering around the can plan didn't last very long, when we saw you steaming from the pier end we assumerd you were on auto pilot to the Adastra.

Excellent!!!! :cool::)

Aye, mind your knee's indeed Bob , nice catch though mate . BTW Ell , I had a 6mths sicknote for eberspacher once .
