Fished behind pedestrian tyne tunnel for second time.
Avoid it like the plague is my advice
To add to the 16 shopping trolleys of previous times another batch has been chucked in right in front of the fishing spot about 5-10 yards out. With the rip on the river it was a bloody nightmare and in the end tackle carnage.
Caught a 3 inch whiting for my trouble ...
Anybody know any better spots around Hebburn Jarrow? Fished church bank and the marina before but only slightly impressed. Somebody pm me a little known deepwater mark on the south side round about the same area that does produce with less carnage and I'll put you on my Christmas list
