trout as chum?

I mentioned before my pal is wanting to go shark fishing. Asuming we will have to provide our own chum, would trout be ok for chumming up? Its generally hard to give away and ive got quite abit laying round

mix it with pigs blood and pilchard oil and it should be fine, or you could just use mackerel.

used some as bait in a lobster pot. It worked well got 1!!!!!??? Ish
