Trout Disease

Tunstall is affected as their fish come from yorkshire and are under contract to the supplier. No more stocking until EU says so. Apparently the infected fish were frozen and for human consumption, how come it effects sport fish? And why are we importing trout from elsewhere? My head hurts help please

found a frozen moth in the freezer yesterday, thawed it out and it flew away

at present to my knowledge 3 farms have been condemed due to the desease VHS and no one seems to know where it has come from but i can say that there is no cure for this unfortunately we are supplied by Costa Springs from Pickering and there has been a 35 day quarrentine on the farm until tests have been done then Mark (manager) has been told that he could be standing for up to 2 years depending on the outcome of the investigation i know that Bob Booth from Welling Park is under the same curfue as well will let you know as soon as i get any further info as we are in contact with both EA and the fish farms on a regular basis

does any body know if tunstall has had a stocking of fish yet was up there other night and never got a touch looking at the catch sheets niether was anybody else.

Same here Fishman, been a few times and had nowt and your right the return sheet looks dismal. I have seen fish moving but had difficulty getting takes. Apparently it was due to be stocked again at the beginning of July but don\'t know wether this happened.

just spoke to mate he is a member as well been up 3 times lately and never had a take he remarked about the catch returns aswell wonder if we get a refund next year on the money they have saved not buying fish do to this virus.
