use yer loaf mick if its gales gan on hendon prom the wind be cut off by the high banks[cliffs]as long as high water same on promenade at hartelpool

you could fish just about any rock marks that have decent cliffs or banks behind them i fished hartley skeer a few months back when the wind was really bad (day before that bloke and wife jumped off the cliffs) but the cliffs took the wind straight over the top of us didnt catch nowt like but nowt changes there lol

Well i,ve just watched Bob Johnson on tv. Weather is going to improve dramatically for tomorrow. And get better as the day wears on. My old fellas up for fish and chips so i,m going down tomorrow.
I,m trying to end the season with a bang and maybe get a nice cod.
Couple lads i work with are up for trout fishing Sun 9th March and i fancy going and wetting my freshwater line.
