Thinking about having a look out tomorrow when I guess the top of the tide will be around 14:00.

Would really like to catch a Turbot.

Could anyone advise me of a North East mark where I could have a chance of catching one ?

Many thanks for any help lads.

i had a couple yesterday from Druridge bay ragworm tipped with small chunks of mackerel on a 2 hook flapper works best or bluey ;)

Thanks lads, could anyone give me directions to Druridge Bay and the marks? Never been up there. I will be travelling North from County Durham.

Also is it a high water mark ? I was thinking about going out in the middle of the afternoon for maybe 1 up 2 down. Would that be good timing for that mark?

Fish two rods at Druridge at the start of the flood - one ridiculously close in and one a little further out - use mackerel or sandeel strips (or bluey). Small aberdeen hooks. Expect the turbot to be very small (but the occasional bigger one pops up). Druridge is easy to find - it's the massive beach between Lynemouth and Amble. Good luck.:)
