just came back from turness power station so annoyed by what so called anglers are taking two chinese anglers had two bags full all where under size some where no more than 6 inces bloody disgrace mind you the locals are no different no wonder the sea are empty

its been happening,for as long as i know,possibly 40years,ive even seen them fishing for SPRATS,at Dunbar,{to take home}.

seen Chinese blokes years ago on s/s pier they had 2 half full fertiliser bags full ov makeey pure greed or going to quite a few takeaways

Last time we were at Turness there was a Chinese bloke taking everything back to his car, where he had aerator pumps rigged up to buckets of sea water, it's a disgrace what they're doing. When you try telling them they just smile.

Has anyone ever tried reporting acts like these to the authorities? Would the Police take any action? I realise it is not always easy or safe to report and would rather members on here didn't act as vigilantes and endanger themselves. These people are breaking the law and upsetting people who actually give a damn about the environment. Huge bags full of mackerel, litter and unsociable behavior needs addressing in a sensible way.
