fished there today over the high tide for three hours, only a rockling for my troubles ,10 others there and only another rockling caught ,weed was fairly bad
ended up loosing 4 sets of gear

id try the twin steps at low water, as far out as you can get on the rocks. i think its a bit too shallow over high tide, unless you can hit the gullys...thats my opinion anyways.

Looking like Boulmer mate ,I've already tussled with myself about fishing for flatties at Alnmouth etc .. Mel my fishing mate suggested Boulmer with a choice of rocks or beach .. it has to be the rocks for me every time , might be daft but you never know.
