Sea Angling: Getting to bottom of noise problem - Sunday Sun
I dont think that is leagal. Some of these householders have even tried putting up ‘no fishing’ notices!

Surely that is a police job, not the people who live there, lets face it they are not paid to do police work or to put there life on the line by confronting 30 drunken rowdy idiots of whom may be carrying weapons.but they should find out who is causing the noise and should not be damaging anglers cars .
I was going to fish there for the first time about a month ago from near the Groin end as i was driving past the streets of posh houses i thought where do i park then the thought of parking next to someones posh house put me off so i headed to S/S pier for a sesh.Just an idea but perhaps when we fish the walkway we could all park a little further away, away from residents front doors? Maybe an extra minutes walk?
There is no excuse for anyone damaging cars and nothing to stop you parking in the streets but I am sure most of us would get a bit cheesed off if an endless stream of strangers started parking outside your house? oftem making noise getting in and out of cars late at night?
Kens I think that's the walkway you're talking about but think this article is about st peters basin. I noticed a sign when I took a group of young'uns fishing there and had one of the residents giving me a bit stick (only from his window though!). I told the teachers and kids I was with to ignore him and the sign has been put up illegally. I do think it's illegal as it's just like putting advertising flyers up and unless it's on property you own it's littering.
They need to get a life I think
