Fished from 11pm-3am near the paintworks towards friars goose,had a good few fish most around the pound mark,with one at 2lb 8oz,did`nt have any whiting,just all codling,was`nt a bad session.Used rag,lug and a bit mussel.Cheers.
good report mate i used to fish the otherside of international paints (pottery bank) we used to get loads of small codling, whiting, flatties and shed loads of crabs lol
Yeah m8,fished pottery bank a few time`s myself,the place where i fish has thrown out some good codling over the years think the biggest that i know of was a shade over 10lb,my brother had one at the 9lb mark too.Plus it`s away from all the worky ticket`s lol ,sheltered out the wind also.
