Tyne with the bairn

Bearing in mind shes just turned 2 2 months ago i took the bairn down the rier the day behind kfc near the metro only using macky as didnt have time to go get some rag.
River is a filthy colour and very swollen couldnt hold bottom with a 6oz sinker
But still stayed down for an hour
We didnt catch anything but was worth it spending some quality time with my daughter
Bit of a pointless report but since everyones taken there kids out now i think its nice to post a catch report even if there was ne fish

My daughters lost interest got all the gear aswell
Been taking nephew but the granddaughter will be walking soon so hopefully can get her in to it in few years time Wor lass will be gutted if the plan comes 2gether lol

by fishing for some reason!
will take her out till she says she dont! her choice in the end i would never
force her to do it because her dad does it!!

I took our Eleisha (5) last summer to the rathouse and set a float up for her, telling her to reel it in when the float went under the water........she picked that rod up every two seconds saying she had a bite. So funny.

That sounds great just what tou would expect from a child of 5 theyre very impatient. will give abbie another year before i take her again i think

my grandaughter would come with me all the time if it was up to her she is just coming up to five so far she has been to the walkway and trout fishing its funny cos she is not scared of worms crabs but show her a dead fish and she is terrified but ok when they are alive and deffo one for catch and release

when i took my son (well nee choice really) fishing when he was 6 i had to buy plenty ket ,crisps n pop too keep him entertained down hendon prom whilst i was fishing ,they didnt last long and my fishing session ended quite quick some kids get bored locked in the car (windows was open mind for air )
