Had a walk along the river today with the bairn.Walked from bill quay to opposite spillers factory,no fishing for me but there was a few lads out few small codling at bill quay,and same story upriver at felling.One lad had a keeper upriver from paintworks,knocking on 2lb i would say.good few out on the north bank too at pottery bank and the basin area.Seems everyone`s heading for the river at the moment.

The friars goose area is now open to the public.They`ve done a great job you can fish out the back of your car at some of the spots.new car park area too,and a canny little pub just 2 minutes walk from where you fish.

nah m8 further up river,near the schooner pub(near where you fished in your catch report).You can fish further downriver near the wooden jetty too and off the corner where the boats are moored.All can be fished at low water.
