gonna fish the tyne tommorow 2 hrs up 2 down .never tried spillers so were giving it a shot .got rag ,mac ,squid and raw prawn.is it snaggy ,any advice would be greatfull.

Hi there, definitely not snaggy at Spillers, the only problem with a strong current is holding bottom (try bending the ends of your wires), other than that its fine, had a nice codling just short of 3lb two weeks ago caught on runnydown and squid, loads of flatties getting caught on small hooks (use barbless hooks if you are targeting these species) easier to get out the poor things if you are returning them and plenty of bait robbing crabs:mad:

got back about 4 ish.caught a couple of undersize whiting .got a good soaking and the wind picked up later on.good to get out despite the weather.was that u bigriver, greys apollo rod and cammo coat.
