Club match last night at a new spot for me resulted in this nice bag of fish

Fishing is a funny old game - wasn't so very long ago I was kicking my stuff about on Whitley Bay beach like a small child

well done. think its gonna be a while before the seas lift again properly ( slight chop on over weekend but not enough to bring fish in I wreckon).
just shows they are there under darkeness still.

worm baits are top for myself now, bet they came on worm (even supreme peelers coming second to runny for me )

worms baits yes - slapped down yellows, rag and common lug cocktail...in that order on the hook

size 2/0 single hook pulley with a plain lead

No because Gregg who was also fishing alongside me (catching a small coalie and rockling ) was looking very sad and distraught at the weigh in so I gave them to him coz I felt bad

I was over the moon with my 2 fish. Just had the cod tonight and it went down well.
