Started off at king eddys bay at high water was ther for about an hour and had nowt so moved to the ramp at the pier tide was still quite big first chuck had a small bite but ddnt connect
Stayed like this for another hour or so mind you it could have been crabs

Decided to move to the other side of the pier down the stairs 1st chuck bowt 100 yards and bites from the off managed to connect to a fish which ran for cover and i lost it so time to rebait and owt again 10 mins in and into another fish this time i managed to get it owt a small codling of about 1lb
Lots more bites fter that but no more fish
Left at 9:30 fish was returned and bait was frozen crab

Na didnt bother the water down the steps seems to shallow right owt so had to move back to the ramp
I only had 2 crab left so wasnt gina put mesel through the pain Of walking along to come back again in 30 mins

That's a cracking mark for later in the year. Did dry out? Scotia and Castle rocks need a medium sized tide not too big that they dry and not too small that you cannot get on to them. I've landed, and lost, some good fish from there; it seems to hold bigger ones.

A seen a few lads fishin it about december is last year and there was a canny sea on that side of the pier the rocks are flat and theres kelp there aswell so a think it will throw summit decent up closer to winter time ill settle for the smaller stuff for now like
I like beadnell area but i dont drive so its difficult to get to decent fish marks
