how can i fish tynemouth pier and get a key 4 the gate is true or crap,
or do u just climb iv been told you get told to clear off is this true :question:

This is a very,very grey area.
All the signs saying no fishing,but when you look there's people doing just that. A queue of anglers waiting for the pier watchman to lock the gates and finish work so they can go on.
Joining a club isnt like turning 21 you dont get the key to the door, are in this case the gate.Dates and times of club matches may not fit into your social calendar therfore joining may end up being a wasted excersise.
Its a personal choice.

if you joing the seaton burn club i think its called its about £20 per year and they have differant matches etc on the pier and night fishing comps etc at differant places along the coast. You can find out more at billys fishing tackle in north sheilds. its well worth it and i think there is consession rates as well.

i don't know about pier night fishing comps ?but the pier watchman closes the pier to the general public and clubs or did ? ? By 16:00/16:30

its only a tenner a year and u get 10% off all the tackle in his shop
