Anyone got any suggestions for a source for tyres for peelers,tried kwik fit and they knocked me back.cheers chaps.

there is a tyre place on condercum rd newcastle they have to pay to dispose of them im sure they would give you them

if u wait nearby condercum road...some chavs will probably do the clasic roll a tyre down west road malarchy ...just catch it mate.....ok ok in all honesty i asked at my local recycling plant ( local tip/skip) he says as long as they arent the legal ones which he could selll...take as many as u want ....it also dependds on his mood /your faCE.....

They would deffo knock you back as under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 they've got a duty of care to ensure correct disposal and as said could face prosecution (fine and/or imprisoment).

Not been for ages, but the track that leads along to the big scrapyard at Wideopen (south gosforth breakers or something it's called) used to have loads lying around piled up that had been slung away. Rough on the suspension getting along there mind.

go for the smaller tyre place explain exactly wat you want them for and should not have any bother getting them if you still have bother geting them send me a pm and a;l tell yoy where to get some but it;ll be in the south shields area

theres a small trading estate in hebburn just along from bill quay behind the fire station where there are tyres a garage has just went bust and there is about 20 outside there plus a tyre place where he will give you more hes called tony
