Made a start on 50lb class 25year old rod ready for some big fish

Thanks. Bit of a heavy bugger with solid wood butt
It's been knocked around & a bit mistreated, forgot all about it until I was tidying my parents garage
They were fortunes back in the 80's & the same rod would prob be 1/4 the price now
But love the rod so thought it needed a bit tlc
