Unexpected PB

Fished north of Alnmouth on Sunday 28th expecting my usual quota of flatties and coalies. Pulled out a codling of 5lb 4oz which was a pleasant surprise. I'm a constant catcher but nothing of any great shakes, so well chuffed with this

Nice one. Healthy fish. Beats my pb off Seaton point by 1oz. Had a few blanks there so far this season but hoping my luck changes tomorrow.
