Set out last night about an hour before high tide ( 10pm ) Horden beach. The wind hadn't changed direction and the sea was massive , unfishable . I turned tail and went home .
Hope the wind changes soon and plan another run out . Might get out Sat night or Sun ?

Rough turned to moderate!

Rough turned to moderate!

I had a recce down Tynemouth yesterday and the wind was blowing a good NW, producing a rough sea! I have walked the dog down there this morning and the sea is moderate. A nice W wind is blowing.
I am going to give Tynemouth and Cullercoats a shot tonight.
There is still plenty of white water, but hopefully after the good churn, the fish will be on the feed!
